The Motorola Motorokr T501 is a Bluetooth car speakerphone. The T501 is identical to the T505 and essentially streams audio and calls to the car stereo when paired with a Bluetooth phone. The cool part is no need for wires or installation. The T501 has a FM transmitter and it comes with a clip that slips on the sun visor. The T501 has a 2-watt internal speaker and a microphone. . This gives me the option to listen, take calls via the T501 or switch over to the car stereo function.

This super accessory will sync up to my phone with ease. The only thing to be aware of is, it is possible another FM receiver can hear your calls. Another cool feature is the StationFinder. This feature is activated with a touch of a button and finds the FM station with the best reception. I use this feature all the time. It is fantastic and I receive clear as a bell FM stations.

The wireless Bluetooth technology has a range of up to 33-feet. If you leave the car you can still stay connected within this range. The T501 features EasyPair technology for pairing up compatible Bluetooth devices. A really outstanding feature is the ability to stream music from my Bluetooth music player. In order to use this feature your cell phone has to support A2DP, (advanced audio distribution profile).

The call quality is good, but I would not say the audio blocks all environmental noise. I went through a construction zone the other day and I did get some negative feedback and so did my caller. It does a good job with ambient noise, but it does not block out all interference. I like the caller ID feature which allows me to ignore calls while I am in transit unless it is really important.

Probably one of the best aspects of this device is the 18-hour talk time. In the box you will find a mini-USB car charger. It is about the most convenient and useful device I have purchased in recent history. I recommend it to everyone.
