Review
[ad#mobile]Guitar Hero III Mobile is an adaption of the popular Guitar Hero series of rhythm video games to mobile phones.  When the game come to mobile phone, can it still preserve Guitar Hero’s essence on PS or Xbox? Let’s check it out.

There are two characters (Axel Steel and Judy Nails), three venues, four guitars, multiple picks (achievements) and 15 songs are included with this downloadable package. The gameplay in Guitar Hero III Mobile is similar to its console counterparts, you will use the numbered keys  “1″, “4″, and “7″ for green notes, “2″, “5″, and “8″ for red notes, and “3″, “6″, and “9″ for yellow notesbut instead of 5 frets, 3 frets to play the game. Similar to the console game too, Once the notes reach the bottom, the player must play the notes by pressing or holding down the number keys in order to score points.  But, there is lot more easy to paly the game by the keypad.

The game is supports PMD audio for BREW devices, allowing the game to retain much of its aural integrity. The 3D character art also look pretty well.

The cons of the games would be the music tracks were polyphonic, and I think the game would have been better with mp3 tracks. But if the game is using the mp3 tracks, then the game’s file will consume a lot of the memory space of your phone. And maybe that’s why the game is design in polyphonic. Beside that, the songs are cut – you won’t get to play through any of them in their entirety.

In conclusion, the game is simple and fun. The graphics, sound, and gameplay were all excellent. Overall, Guitar Hero III is a quite addictive game.

  1. I wish I never ever tried using guitar hero – I ought to be investing more time with the relatives but it is simply too much fun.
