Motorola recently has announced a new handset called the Motorola Clutch i465 which is texting-centric phone. As a texting phone, the Clutch supports messaging of all kinds including IMs, e-mails and text messaging. For better texting experience, the phone also come with a full QWERTY keyboard with shortcut keys.
Other features include a micro USB port, a 5-pole accessory connection, a 3-megapixel camera for stills and video, a 2.5 mono audio jack, 20MB memory and a 1,130mAh battery. It has support for MP3, WAV and MIDI ringtones and has Bluetooth 1.2.
Motorola Clutch i465 will be expected release at Q2 2009 Boost Mobile. So far pricing details are yet to be announced.
The Clutch looks like a really good phone. I just pre-ordered it from the American Wireless Online Store, I can’t wait to get it. I have been waiting for this phone for two years and can now finally upgrade from my 335.
my hubby received his i465 this week, he ported his number from Nextel to Boost Mobile which took about 2 minutes! This phone is amazing! i had a good time messing around with it, the firmware is nice, it”s super loud and although the ringtones is a bit lame, you can always download free mp3 ringtone files, I have read that this phone look ulgy, well it is not is is a awesome looking phone, 2 me it look better than any blackberry, although i wouldn’t call it a smartphone, it is a texting device. so go ahead pay $100 plus a month, i rather pay $50 a month for everything, who cares about a few drop calls i can deal with that, what i can’t deal with is these cell phone companies taking my hard earn money, oh by the way i ordered mine this morning, i will port my T-mobile number to Boost Mobile.WOO HOO! i can’t wait!
good luck finding ringtones- not even the ones from the Boost store work. I love this phone except for that and today that is making me very angry- I PAID for tones that wont work and they wont refund me:(
Anyone find a site that works to get free ones to this phone?
