The HTC Whitestone has been regarded as Verizon’s version of the Touch Diamond 2. There are rumors said that the Verizon take the device as Verizon HTC XV6975 and expected release date is on September or October. The Whitestone is a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional phone that will feature a Qualcomm 7600 CPU at 528 Mhz, 512 MB ROM, 256 MB RAM, a 3.6 inch touchscreen , a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and anti-shake , gpsOne , and both a GSM and CDMA radio.
The HTC Mega seems to be a lower-end HTC phone. The phone running on Qualcomm 7225 CPU at 528 Mhz, 256 MB ROM, 256 MB RAM and carry a 2.8 inch QVGA screen. It support GSM/HSDPA network and has a 3 megapixel camera and also an on-board GPS. It still has the hardware zoom bar that the newer HTC device have, but based on the screen size this looks like an update to the original Touch or possibly Touch Cruise line. The rumors said that the display has a resolution for on 240×320 pixels. We don’t think it is true, how can a new touch phone with such a low resolution?
Lastly,the HTC Tachi – a phone that expected will be heading to to China exclusively on the Dopod network, according to the rumors. The device carry a VGA (480 x 640) display and come with WM6.5, making it one fo the first devices in the world to launch with the new OS. It also has 512 MB ROM, 256 MB RAM, and the ubiquitous 528 Mhz Qualcomm processor runningon it. Other features including WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, 3.1MP camera w/auto-focus,Front facing camera and MicroSD.
