for CSL G8 how to remove unwanted wiget/applicatin from the mobile especially the chinese game and other in chinese words
I’m one of these customer who have been coated by this very cheap quality devise.
All the shops where saying that this is a good quality and worth the price of 540 Malaysian R.
I bought G8 and it is a very cheap quality devise. First day the battery is not working, send day the antenna fall apart. Also the web camera is not clear and in the same time the camera frame taken some of the picture. What a device. The shop i bought the device from he want to help in the first time then when he find out that i caught him that he was a layer and this is a very cheap device quality as he was saying before he refused to help. He actually makes me feel angry and i broke the devise and throw it to the trash. The company did not help to they are CSL. they claim that they have Commitment, services and loyalty, no commitment, no service and for sure no loyalty.
If you ask me do you recommend buying this device, for sure i will say no and do not waste your money in such very cheap quality.
More problem of this devise, the response is very slow, voice is not good, and most of the games is in Chinese and very stupid games.
I have the email and i have the shop name in Malaysia.
New mobile phone CSL G8 to sell!
I have a brand new G8 (July 2010, now about 4 weeks old) and it has now a electronic defect (message “insert sim1″ when a simcard 1 ist inserted yet in this slot).
But i cannot get any support from CSL, because i live in europe (vat- and custom problems etc.)
So i sell this device. If you can get support from CSL or repair it, or you need any part like case, display or accu, you have a good chance for a occassion.

Beleive me dosnt worth the time and any thing else, do like i did and live your life habby and in peace after you throw it to the trash. This is a very cheap quality and very bad company
my colleage has used g8 since 7 months ago,bought in kl,and still in good condition.She bought it at a local distributor for rm750 (months ago,nowadays can get new/original one for 699). RM540 price usually seen at online/2nd hand sale.
How about WIFI, facebook and gps?
I used to buy the branded phones since 1995..they were good then..but of late I found out the various companies have now oem from the likes of India,Indonesia and even China to assemble their phones…
So what’s the difference?? my last experience with a BRANDED phones ended up in me arguing with the phone seller, who at the end of the argument agreed there is no difference with local or the branded ones…
I changed 3 of my family members’ set with CSL namely CSL G5 classic, G6 and G8..they work well with me, only that we are still trying to figure out how to go around the menus…
People used to condemned HTC..but look where they are right now? To me a phone is a phone…if you want to play games try psp, ps3 or some other gadgets….give the PHONE it’s credit…
A phone built with carelessness!
I own a new one but this phone is not to my satisfaction on these reasons:
whenever there is wifi available, you may not get connected. Even if you’re connected, it’s hard to access the internet.
1) even ‘Wednesday’ is wrongly spelt. On my phone, Wednesday appears as ‘Wendnesday’.
2) there is no short-cut to any apps and even to get out of an apps.
3) to delete an sms, you need to press 3 types of button. In all it takes for than 5 seconds to delete an sms.
4) you have selected preferred input method. When you want to write text, you have to press all input methods in order to switch even when writing ‘abc’, ‘ABC’ and ’123′. Hard to switch between caps and number. Cannot disable unwanted input methods. Wasting time.
5) Poor reception of the analog tv. Hard to get all channels as advertised. Even if you get one, the display quality is poor.
6) No software update support even there are many bugs on the current version of the phone.
7) People calling you may not get you although the phone is in your hand.
All in all, I may say G8 sucks! Not worth the money. You have to spend more time to write sms and even to delete sms. Even having problem with basic handphone use! Typical China quality claimed as Malaysian product!
Just bought G8 at TESCO,TAIPING.I don’t have any problem yet.Hopefully it will work perfectly because I have paid RM499 for it.:)
this phone has google maps and sofware to download?? if u know.. tell me…
I have CSL G8 phone and I have this phone for i think a fews month and my phone has been in and out from the workshop for almost 10 times and the problem still not solved. Let me list down with you the problem of this phone.
1. Wednesday it was spell with Wendnesday (what English is that!)
2. Volume to soft even after adjust to the fullest this has been solved by CSL (people will think that you are deaf when you keep saying har har har har har need to keep repeating)
3. Fucking buzzing sound if you call someone (only the person on the other line hear it not you ) very noisy like electricity sound or buzzing sound- change speaker also still the same. Conclusion people won’t hear what you talking.
4. Dual sim problem – got into the lift the sim 2 disconnect no one from CSL can solve it. I solve it by my self change the older sim card to the lastest sim card solve it. I have to pay RM10 to Maxis for sim card change.
5. Signal is not good if go to a place that have less coverage hard to make call. test with the cheapest nokia phone the nokia can make call out but not this CSL Iphone ciplak phone.
6. Phone will not power on after you turn it off and you need to keep trying for 1 hour or more and at LAST the phone will turn on.
There is one lady from CSL headquater name Alice (you all can call her regarding your CSL G8 phone her handphone number is 016-6587188 or CSL HEADQUARTER MALAYSIA Tel: +6035569-3031) she claim she is the Manager let me list down what problem or issue this manager has:
1. she got no customer service attitude towards her customer. Just know how to say No No No I can’t change this model for you and will even ask you back what you want actually!!!
2. She will also say there no one complain about the CSL G8 phone as I’m the only ONE that complain alot!! Really!!!?
2. she won’t take your call if you call her. need to call countless times only take the call.
3. she will even challenge you to go to court if your want to take the money back. She will also said it normal never mind you can go to court and complain as there is alot of people is doing so to the CSL handphone(proven that the brand name CSL is useless same like the customer service center they have) forget to list down one more person here. Dira (this lady got no pangkat just normal worker) from the customer service in the headquater if your ask alot she will said if you ask too much I won’t let you change the phone and also she will just hang up the phone if you complain alot.( WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER IS THAT!!! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER IN THE WORLD!!!!!)
My conclusion is do not buy this CSL G8 phone rather you donate it to the charity with that money (can do good deed somemore). It is a fucking shit phone.
how to use wifi? everytime I open the facebook, tweeter or internet the connection failed.
wah…so terrible…i just bought it 2 days ago…then yesterday,i sent it to workshop…microphone problem,sim problem…aiyo…how to support malaysian product ha!!!!i bought it rm430…then i think i,ll spend more than a thousand to repair la…haiyo…
I just bought the phone few weeks ago~~~ so far it is in good conditions….
i think many seems not understand actually were buying cheap phone….seems the phone is cheap…sure u dun put too much expect in the quality or function…etc….
For me, i feel the phone is nice, at least the quality is equal to the money i gave…
please la…u are just buying CSL phone only, dun compare it to iphone la……….
