LG KC550 Review

Have you ever thinking had a decent camera phone in an affordable price tag? The LG KC550 might be in your consideration list. LG KC550 can be considering is a low cost phone as KC550 is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera that released recently.

The LG KC550 appearance seems to be not impressive people much. But it is not ugly, it just look like no other then LG slider phone. It is large and rectangular which is not a pocket-friendly phone. But the brushed-metal body somehow makes it feel fashionable. The display is 62K color 2.4-inch TFT screen, which isn’t touch-enabled, but can play high quality videos with resolution up to 720×480 and 30 frames per second.

The 5 megapixel camera obviously is the main features and selling point for LG KC550. The camera is located at the back with a solid metal sliding cover protected and the camera will activated when sliding down the cover. The camera also comes with an image stabiliser feature which will automatically steady those small movements made by the user when taking a shot. Beside that, there is an automatic image rotation feature which allows the user to capture & record in either horizontal or vertical position. However, that will maybe a problem when snapping in the low-light picture because the there’s only an LED photo light from the camera. But in daylight, the camera is doing just fine.

The advantages of LG KC550 would be not support 3G and Wi-Fi. This maybe will turn somebody away, but for $350’s phone you can’t expect more. Other features of the phone includes music player that support popular music file formats, FM radio, browser, 12 MB internal memory while the phone can support up to 4G MicroSD™ memory card.

LG KC550 is a mid-level phone that performs very well but with nothing special. Even the 5 megapixel camera also isn’t the best either. But for the price that offer, you really can’t complain too much.
