The LG KS360 was released last month quietly by LG. This is a slide phone that distinctly target to the youth market. From the design I can only say that LG KS360 is a CUTE phone. I think probably most of the girls will like this phone. Currently KS360 is available is 5 version of color including Black and red, Black and silver, White and soft pink, Titanium and bright blue.

The LG KS360 is not the conventional slider phone that keypad slide from the bottom of the front panel. Instead, the keypad is slide from the side of the phone. And the keypad is also not a numeric keypad. It is the QWERTY keypad which users can use to write messages as quickly and as accurately as possible. The front panel is a 2.4 inches and a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels touchscreen. The screen is applying the accelerometer technology which will automatically rotate by 90 degrees when the QWERTY keypad is slide out. Beside, below the screen also equipped with d pad and few buttons like ‘end’,’call’ and ‘select’. These are to make sure users can control the phone without using the QWERTY key pad. With the touchscreen and the front panel buttons, you can almost control everything, but when it’s come to text massaging, you can only use the QWERTY keypad. But what is the point for the QWERTY keypad? Is that the QWERTY is for the text massaging use only?

Unfortunately, the KS360 is not a 3G phone. You can only surf the internet by GPRS. This probably is the most disappointed downside of this phone. The camera of this phone also not impressed too much. It is only 2MP and with fixed focus. However it is allow video recording. Other features of KS360 are support MP3, AAC, AAC+ and eAAC+ format mp3 player, FM radio, Java MIDP 2.0, MPEG-4 player, Photo/video editor, Built-in handsfree, Voice memo and etc. The phone also provides only 15MB shared memory. Obviously it is not enough for storing many songs. However, you still can buy a microSD (TransFlash) memory stick to increase the memory capacity. It is support up to 4GB microSD memory card.

Overall, LG KS360 is just a very cute phone with middle level of functionality. It seems the phone is only doing its best as a messenger phone. For those who are like to text massaging, LG KS360 maybe is the choice of yours.
