As one of the Motorokr family, Motorola has just launched the new Motorokr Motorola EM 28. The EM28 is a low cost music phone with advance features. This phone also known as EM330 in HK, mainland China, and Taiwan.
Design
The Motorola MotoROKR EM28 have the familiar RAZR clamshell design. The external display is a 2 colors( black and white) LCD 96 x 80 pixels, 1.2 inches monochrome display. When the flip is open, inside there is the 1.8 inches TFT 65K colors display. The keypads is not flat anymore like other Motorola’s RAZR did. It is because some users complained it is hard to texting with the flat keypad. Being of size 94 x 50 x 17 mm and having a weight of only 90 g, this item’s size is comfortably hod in hand.
Control
The ROKR EM28 offers control music using touch-sensitive keys that appear only when needed. The dedicated music jump key / smart key and navigational keys with touch-sensitive multimodal keys is all on the external cover. The external screen shows the name of the artist and song or FM radio information without opening the flip. You will know what and who is playing on your phone even without the flip being opened since the information on the song and the artists is displayed in front.
Music
The Motorola EM30 applied the Motorola well-known CrystalTalk technology that giving you the clear music quality you expect from a quality phone. Listen to the music with audio 3D sound effects, spatial audio and bass boost, audio equalizer giving you an excellent audio experience. The phone also provide an universal 3.5 mm jack which allow you to connect to your favorite speakers or headsets. And of course, as a music phone supports multiple music formats, including MP3. For music lover fully enjoy music from the phone, simply switch to Airplane Mode that can plays music for approximately 11 hours of music playback.
FM Radio
The FM Radio in Motorola EM25 is excellent. The Radio not only support RDS (Radio Data System) technology which allows you to identify which songs are playing on your FM radio, but also has other features that not always seen in other phone. Thw FMShare lets you record radio station information to enjoy later or share your favorite stations with friends with FM-enabled phones via text message3. What make the radio cool is , you can record the song from the radio station with mono FM recording, then use it as a ring tone.
Camera
The phone has a built-in 1.3-megapixel with 4x digital zoom and video capture and playback. Nothing much to say about this camera since it is only 1.3MP. You can’t really expect more on this kind of specs’s camera.
Memory
The phone only support up to 2GB optional removable microSD memory card which i think really not enough for some serious music lover.

In the range of low-end music phone, Motorola ROKR EM 28 not doubt an excellent phone. It really has many cool music features that users can enjoy. If you are looking a cheap music phone, this one might be your choice.
