The Motorola Z6c is a phone that supports dual mode- GSM and CDMA network. This is rarely been seen in the phone market. Obviously, this targeted market of this phone majority would be in United Sate because CDMA network is not so common in use or no use at all in other country.
The Z6c has the same slider design you’d find on a Motorola Rizr phone. It is constructed from black and silver plastic throughout. The slider is very easy open and closes and has a fluid movement to it. You can open and close the handset with one hand using the convenient thumb grip. The display is a 2-inch screen with 65,000-color. The contrast of the phone is great, and can display picture, graphic and animation very well. Bellow the display would be the 5 way navigational D-pad which is mostly uses in access the phone’s application. And the numeric keypad is hide under the front panel, which you see it when you slide the phone. Overall, the design is basic, simple and solid but won’t attract too much attention.
The Motorola Z6c’s camera allows you to take pictures in five resolutions (from 1,600×1,200 down to a special Picture ID size), and choose from three quality settings. However the camera is no autofocus and flash system, so image that can take by Z6c is limited. Other features would be includes music player that can play MP3, WMA, and ACC audio files, Mobile Web 2.0, VCast Music downloads, V Cast Video streaming, and VZ Navigator for GPS guided directions. All this features sound’s great, unfortunately to tell you these only usable while in Verizon’s CDMA network.
I don’t think Motorola Z6c will be widely accepted by most of the people. Although it is support dual-band GSM/CDMA network, but most of the features can only run under CDMA network which turn down the phone’s quality when in GSM network. Nevertheless, Motorola Z6c is a decent CDMA network’s phone, but not a good phone for GSM network.
