Normally talking about Nokia 6300i people will think of Nokia 6300. No doubt 6300i and 6300 not only have their name in common, the design of both phone are over 95% alike. Indeed, Nokia 6300i is the upgraded version of Nokia 6300.
Nokia 6300i can consider as a quite powerful function phone as it is in mid-range category. It got the high-end multimedia functionalities which allow you to enjoy a lively music experience on their mobile phone and the music player supports MP3, AAC, ACC+, eAAC+ & WMA music formats. The music control is easy to use and make the music feature & fun experience for the user. 6300i also can play wide range type of ringtone including MP3, MIDI, polyphonic sound & true tones format. Moreover, it is backed with massive internal memory of 30 MB, plus 512 MB of MicroSD card. The users can enjoy storing data, music and other files.
The 2 megapixel camera is integrated in Nokia 6300i.The camera is easy to use. User can get up close to their target using the 8 x digital zoom feature and view their picture in full screen on the 2 Inch colour display. The camera also supports video capabilities which allow the user to capture moving video recordings as well as still pictures. Unlike Nokia 6300, the 6300i is backed with additional feature of Macromedia Flash Lite 2.0. This helps the users to get perfect image on every shot.
Another different between 6300 and 6300i is the 6300i is complete with Voice Over IP (VOIP) call feature for connecting with others. It is an alternative and inexpensive way to connecting with other people. The 6300i also supports Bluetooth, Mini USB connection, EDGE, WLAN and HSCSD technologies. User can simply enjoy internet connection with the wireless or 3G feature.
Overall I think Nokia 6300i is a wonderful phone. The only disadvantage is on the design of this phone. Frankly, this phone did not attract my eye at all. It gives me a wrong impression that this phone was released few years ago.
I think is the time that Nokia designers should work harder.
