Sony Ericsson Jalou is a fashion phone that recently released. It is fashionably phone that has a unique jewel-like and stylish design that mainly targeting ladies market. If you think stand alone Sony Ericsson Jalou is not fashion enough for you, there is a twin version of this phone that plated with 24 carat gold which is branded by Dolce&Gabbana. However, what we will see in this article is based on the original version. DesignSony Ericsson Jalou has very unique design. At the first time you see Jalou, you’ll feel that it is obviously look like a jewel, not only by the diamond-cut design but also shinny reflective coating. It is so obviously that the design was based on jewelry. On the exterior panel, there is a 1.3 inches external secondary display screen of type monochrome with a resolution of 128 x 36 pixels. It can be use as notifies you of incoming calls, received messages, time and even the song that´s being played. Also you will notice there is a 3.2-megapixel camera located right below the display. Open the fold, you will see the main 2-inch screen is on the upper part of the phone. Although it is small, but still remain displaying colorful can clear image. On the keypad side, the most eye-catching is on the sharply segmented hexagonal control pad. However, the numeric keypad that lies below the navigation seem a little bit too small for men, but would fit most smaller finger women. The overall size of the phone is really impressing. It is small, compact and only measure 73 x 45 x 18.2 mm for the size, it is shorter than credit card when the fold is closed. So it would be very easily slip into even the tightest jeans, not to mention your purse. FeaturesTo be honestly, the Sony Ericsson Jalao features set is nothing too special, except the application that turn the 2 inches display become a mirror with only one press and something called the Walk Mate. The latter one is the first Sony Ericsson to feature step counter, which telling you exactly how far you´ve walked, just like the distance meter on our car. We don’t sure about this feature, maybe it is another method to measure the calories that burned. The phone does support 3G and HSDPA connectivity, so it is able to make video calls, email, browse the Web, play Java games, watch YouTube and so on. ConclusionApparently Sony Ericsson Jalou isn’t for anyone, not even for every women. It is only for those swinger that need a phone that can suits their dress. But you are looking a special gift for your girlfriend or wife birthday, you can choice this rather than a diamond ring. |
